Our Story

The Falor brand was founded in 1985 by husband and wife duo, Franco and Laura Falor. After studying shoemaking and pursuing apprenticeships at various leather ateliers, they honed their skills and saved their wages.

In 1985, Franco and Laura opened their own bottega, or workshop, and the Falor brand was born. They started out creating shoes but soon expanded into designing handbags. Using traditional techniques like handwoven intrecciato and embossed leathers, their bags combined classic Italian elegance with modern functionality.

As the Falor brand grew, it became known for its impeccable construction and innovative silhouettes. By the early 1990s, the bags were being sold at top department stores and boutiques around the world. Over 30 years later, Falor continues to be family owned and operated with Franco and Laura’s daughters now heavily involved.
